How we make this website usable by everyone.
We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever their needs or the device they use. This statement applies to the whole of Easthampstead Pharmacy's website.
What we have done
- Text and background colours meet the contrast standard, including the buttons in our own colours.
- Everything works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline, and the menu, pop-ups and forms can be closed with the Escape key.
- Pages have a clear heading structure and labelled forms, and pictures that are only decorative are hidden from screen readers.
- Text can be resized to at least 200% without loss, and the site works on phones down to 320 pixels wide.
- Animation is turned off for people who have asked their device for reduced motion.
- Nothing flashes, and no audio plays on its own.
We aim to meet level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2.
What may not work as well
- The map is provided by Google and we do not control how accessible it is. The address is written out in the footer of every page.
- Appointment booking uses a separate service provided by a third party. If it does not work for you, ring us and we will book the appointment over the phone.
- Prescription ordering uses a separate service provided by a third party. You can also order by phone or in the pharmacy.
- Some older documents we may link to, such as PDFs, may not be fully accessible.
